# Zarmed University

> ZARMED University continues the legacy of ancestors who established modern civilization foundations, striving to develop higher education innovatively. The institution was founded to increase Uzbekistan's scientific potential, train skilled personnel for critical sectors including medicine, economics, and construction, and contribute to New Uzbekistan's development. 
History:
1997: Nasimova Khurshida Mahmudovna, her husband Shukurlayev Daler Muzaffarovich, and son Dilshod Dalerovich opened one of Samarkand's first private medical centers named after Khurshida Nasimova.
2010: ZARMED Diagnostic Centers established in Samarkand; SOFMED opened in Bukhara.
2015: NURMED established in Karshi; centers later merged under unified ZARMED brand.
2021: ZARMED PRATIKSHA Clinic established in collaboration with India's Pratiksha Clinic (April 10).
2022: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited ZARMED PRATIKSHA Clinic and proposed a medical cluster (April). ZARMED University officially founded in Bukhara (December 7).
2024: Samarkand campus opened September 7.
